"Thirteen friends on a early summer holiday to Portugal, what an experience. The villa is situated in the heart of Budens, easily accessible from Faro airport (<1 hour drive). There are many lovely beaches on the south and west coast, and Lagos or Sagres are no more than 20onutes drive away. We had some great hikes, runs, beach days, pool days and BBQs and would recommend the villa to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, timely in replying and had some great food recommendations. We will be coming...

"The bed was very comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed and more. We loved it here. Only one word of caution for older travelers: the stairs in the apartment can be treacherous. I fell down twice before I got the hang of it. "

"An absolutely beautiful property with fabulous hosts. It feels like you are away from it all but it is easy to get to all of the local attractions and then come home to a serene home. Highly reccommend a stay here, it will not disappoint."

"We had a lovely time staying here whilst visiting Burgau. The property is in a great location and only a short walk to the centre of the village and the beach. Whilst it is an older property which, in time, would benefit from a spruce up, this certainly didn’t detract from our stay and we would love to visit again. "

"Burgau is a great family holiday destination with a gorgeous beach and lots of restaurants cafes etc. The lower appartment was super clean and a nice size with air conditioning which worked well. It was a quick easy walk to the beach but quiet at night- maybe thanks to the shutters on the windows. The roof terrace was brilliant- lovely big space which was shared with my parents who stayed in the appartment above us.. we may not have enjoyed sharing with people we didn’t know. Would recommend...

"House is fine and as advertised. Close to beach. Did not have hot water for first 3 or 4 days. Property owner seems nice and very responsive. The bad new is that a large dog is 75 meters away and he literally barks all night long. Don't know how he can manage it ! I needed ear plugs and white noise music to sleep."
