"Simply perfect. One of the best places we have ever stayed. The town is a hidden gem. The room is perfect. Beautiful detail, super clean and super special, lots of thought and detail. "We have never been in a hotel quite like this - an old hunting lodge made by a prince in 1910. It is (way) off the beaten path - access is via a two- mile dirt road. Totally quiet and peaceful - personal attention. There were only two other guests while we were there."

"We had an amazing experience at Casale Margherita. Very easy to get in touch with via WhatsApp, scheduled taxi rides for us to surrounding areas for a fee. The gentlemen that drove us to a surrounding city and again to the bus station the next day was so wonderful, brought us for a traditional Sicilian coffee and cannoli nearby. The pool was incredible. Would highly recommend. "

"Very welcoming. Arrived late due to heavy rain and the property was difficult to find. The road up to the Masseria was a rough stoney track 1km in length. Carlos made a special effort to make us a superb meal as we had arrived so late, nothing was too much trouble."

"We were an adult family group of n Sicily for the first time and Villa Consiglio was the perfect place to explore from. The Villa, pool and its many terraces enjoy views towards Palermo and Cefalu which could be easily reached by car or train. The villa was quiet and away from the centre but just a few minutes to the town by car. The owners went to great lengths to welcome us and Carlo was always available to deal with any questions, to guide us to the villa and run us to the train station....
