"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Alvise’s country cottage! He was incredibly friendly and helpful as a host. The location has a beautiful view and lots of privacy, which was more than worth the price. We were able to get some much needed rest and visit the surrounding sites, such as Cefalù, with ease. We would definitely return given the chance."

"The apartment was very clean and right on the water. It was truly beautiful. When we booked this apartment was not available, but we stayed in another spot in the same property. It was just as nice, though I question if it was a little smaller. The manager of the apartment was very kind and very attentive. Gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The area of beach next to the apartment is beautiful, but the general location (outside of the apartment complex) is somewhat dirty....

"This place is one of a kind. Shaped by architects and artists, there is something to delight on every side. The most prominent feature is the huge garden filled with edible plants and trees. There are two spacious tables, one of them in a magical hidden corner. The kitchen is fully equipped to make any mean you fancy. Every bedroom is different in furnishings. the location is near a delightful town square off the beaten track. We cannot speak too highly of this Sicilian gem."

"Third floor covered porch with great view of mountains gave gave 3 adults, three children and a dog a cool breeze during the heat wave. Optional AC not needed. A large common garden was also available for relaxing after touring. Host on site had an phone with instant translation."

"Location: The house is an hour drive away from Palermo city center. It requires navigation through winding mountain roads that are barely wide enough for one car to pass through with no GPS reception. It is inconvenient to reach even in fair weather, and downright dangerous in the dark or rain. Property and Facilities: The house is much older and in worse shape than the photos suggest. The kitchen is antique and cramped, and many of the appliances do not work properly. We lost power multiple...

"This was a really fabulous week in Caltavuturo. Susanne has a created a welcoming and beautifully styled home and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. There are many hidden places around the property to relax, whether it’s by the pool, on the terrace on the long outdoor sofa or upstairs on the terrace outside the main apartment. The kitchen is really well stocked with appliances. There are two fridges so plenty of storage space. The Weber grill was perfectly clean and easy to use....

"We were 2 couples and spent 1 week at this very big house with this really fascinating architecture and great view over the sea! It has a very nice pool and a direct entrance to the the little beach. Most of our time we spent on the upper floor area - the ground floor area seemed a bit too dark to us and not very inviting. "The hosts, Giorgio and Mari Angela are wonderful and were great hosts. Picked us up from S. Flavia railway station and provided great tips on Porticello. This is a lovely fishing village with a relaxed vibe."

"Ein traumhafter Ort mit einem tollen Wintergarten und einer unglaublichen Aussicht. In der nahen Ortschaft bestehen gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Gegend bietet einige Möglichkeiten zum Wandern auf Gipfeln mit einem genialen Rundblick sowie viele Möglichkeiten zum Radfahren (mit auf und ab). Der Vermieter ist ein toller Gastgeber!"

"Das Ferienhaus war wie beschrieben. Es gab nichts auszusetzen. Die Eigentümerfamilie hat auf uns gewartet, uns in Emfang genommen und alles zum Haus erklärt. Die Familie war sehr freundlich. Das Haus ist mit allem notwendigem ausgestattet. Leider waren die Straßen und Strände relativ dreckig, wofür das Ferienhaus jedoch nichts kann. Das Haus an sich ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen."
