Kootenay Park Lodge

3.5 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (353)
"We didn't read the reviews before reserving. When I walked into the cabin, I immediately second guessed our choice. It is very rustic. The windows and coverings are old. The locks for the door are terrible. There are only 2 outlets in the whole cabin. The bathroom was long and skinny. We had to slide past the sink to get to the toilet and shower. There was maybe 1 1/2' between the sink and the wall! I woke up in the middle of the night to scratching. I turned the light on and saw a...

Sundance Trapper Tents

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"I was happily surprise on how cozy and nice the tent was. The location was nice and closed to Calgary for a quick and restful getaway. Given the cold weather the heater really helped. I wish the weather would of been nicer but never the less, we will be back later in the summer. Erika"

"Had a great stay. Great location for a family. The slides were fun and the outdoor hot tub was amazing. Loved the size of the room we had and the kitchen. We used the fireplace everyday and firewood was free. We will be making this our Banff home whenever we head that way! "

Basecamp Resorts Canmore

3.5 star property

"We stayed here for 1 night for a girls get-a-way and it was perfect for what we needed it for. Beds were clean and comfortable, there was plenty of space. We did notice a few area's of improvement - the one shower did not get hot water and was out of the conditioner. The towels were really ratty and only a few were left for us. The bathroom doors once locked were tricky to unlock. A bit bare bones, but if you just need a home base and are not looking for luxury this place was perfect. You can...
