"Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sunset Chalet. The over the top characteristic was the stunning views of Lake Tahoe from our deck. Chalet was exceptionally clean and well stocked with thoughtful amenities. Host was immediately available to resolve an issue when the area power was shut down and we called her cell phone. Would we return- absolutely."

"Booked this place to celebrate my wife’s 40th, her only request was that she wanted a hot tub. Original listing advertised a hot tub however upon arrival the hot tub was frozen and not operating. Reached out to the property manager who advised that it wasn’t part of the listed amenities (there are signs in the house for hot tub use)…I went back to the listing and it had been updated removing the hot tub language from the listing. We should have been informed that the hot tub was not working so...

"We had a 3 night stay and it was such an easy check in process! Cabin was clean, had everything you’d need for the kitchen, and even toys around for my daughter to play with. Also, had really good communication with them. They even went out of their way to send a wedding binder back to us that we left behind. Super grateful. We really had a great experience and will definitely be back! "

"This house is perfect for 2 families of 4 each. The bedrooms for the parents are both downstairs, while the kids are upstairs - which was great. We loved how close the house is to the ski mountain, the ski bus to/from as well as the really hot and clean hot tub outside in the snow. The house could have given us more towels for the hot tub, however. So bring your own if you want clean towels! House was clean except for some spider webs up in the rafters. "Beautiful, large house that was perfect for our trip out to visit family and go skiing at Mount Rose. Kids loved the game room and the tree house. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of soft towels for everyone. My only minor issue is that the oven, and kitchen in general, is a bit small to cook for a large group (we had 6 adults and 4 kids). Also, the grill was not working during our stay, the owner did apologize for the inconvenience and committed to getting it fixed. Would definitely stay here...
