"Emergenza incendi in Sicilia. Comunichiamo a Expedia e al titolare che non possiamo andare, chiedendo il rimborso o almeno lo spostamento della prenotazione. Ci viene negata. La prenotazione era in modalità non rimborsabile, dunque era legittima facoltà del titolare tenersi i soldi già incassati e respingere la richiesta. Ma in tanti anni che viaggio in giro per la Sicilia e per il mondo non mi era MAI capitato un gestore che a fronte di una grave emergenza non venisse incontro al cliente....

"Chose property based on proximity to ferry terminal and reviews. We are a 2 minute walk away so we can sit in the roof deck and go over just before boarding - avoiding heat and crowds of the port. The room was unexpectedly elegant, perhaps the best room we have had in Sicily and for the price the best. We had an excellent dinner recommendation (Doppio Gusto) 5 mins away. I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows.
