"This is not a place for outsiders. All of the other guests in the (tiny) bunks were poor Indian men on their way to be, say, a guest laborer somewhere (one man showed me his visa to Ghana). Anyway, it was awkward AF, so I powered through a couple nights and then moved next-door to the Afra hostel — still pretty much a local place, but MUCH better, and I even made some new good friends there. Actual showers, a few western toilets, a men's wing, a woman's wing, and a mixed dorm, no hangout space,...

"I booked this place 2 months in advance. I never stayed at this place due to them not accepting foreigners. Upon arriving from a late flight, I called beforehand to let them know on my way. Once I arrived they told me that I could not stay there, it was only for Indian nationals. And that foreigners were not welcome. At 3am in morning, I had no choice but to leave and look for another place to stay. Overall, not a good experience. Not recommend. I’m still disputing this charge with Expedia. And...

"Booking was not confirmed by hotels.com when I reached there till Mrng.so there was an issue. Flush not working in the bathroom.had to use jetspray. No lights in few showers.atleast there was hot water. The corner part of the dormitory did not get enough AC. There were huge snorers so it’s hard to sleep there and the room echoes. There were mosquitoes too"

"The man is VERY NICE and a GOOD host I have no complaints about him. Also the place and VERY NICE A/C as it’s hot there. The only complaint I had was the bed sheets, they looked as if they had not been changed from last person. I may be wrong but it sort of made me concerned. But the price is REALLY GOOD and he will provide a nice locker to keep your luggage safe It’s overall good for the money "

"The very first day early morning something suspicious happened someone was just hitting very hard on the wall we heard someone was screaming and we heard the glass breaking we all 4 people were terrified & shocked when we tried to call the desk nobody responded & when I called the manager on his whatsup number then the front desk people came up & the reason of such nuisances they gave was totally not acceptable I personally won’t ever come back to this property again "
