"Extremely charming hotel with wonderful staff. The chef at the restaurant was outstanding. Several charming areas to have a drink or just wind down at the end of the day."

"Uniqueness was located by the Gota canal & locks. Very near the museum about the Canal which was very good. What I didn't like was the communal washrooms & showers. Perhaps a separate toilet for the restaurant patrons would help."

"Amal is a good location for exploring the lakes. There a couple of ok places to eat out, but not as many as I'd have liked. Definitely a base rather than a location. Hotel is in an older building and decorated sympathetically. Our room had plenty of space, but no tea or coffee making facilities."
