"We visited Vittsjö to see a long-time friend and local resident. He recommended that we stay at Wärdshuset Furuliden.... and boy, we are totally pleased to have taken his good counsel. The owners / managers of this fine guest house make sure that all their guests enjoy a solid good visit, they (Amanda and Mike) are very competent and gracious. "Note that you will need a water taxi to get to this hotel which is on an island. The description and location information on Hotels.com was incomplete when we made our reservation on 18 july 2019. Hopefully this will be updated. I called their front desk and they we very nice! But we are unable to rate the property, although it looks nice from the photos!"

"We had a lovely stay at Grimsnäs Herrgård. The facilities are far from modern, but the feeling of cleanliness totally made up for it. We were totally charmed by the old manor, the beautiful dining room, the lovely couple running the hotel and our pretty room. Grimsnäs is placed in rural country - getting there gives you a stunning drive through old country side with lots of forests mixed with old farms and fields."
