4.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (417)
"We had an exceptional stay. Arrived early because we had to check out of another hotel and were given a very warm reception, welcome drinks were a lovely surprise. They agreed to take our luggage and deliver to our room once it had been prepared. We were very fortunate to be given an upgraded room with balcony which was perfect. The individual room/group access to the beautiful spa pool and steam room was a fantastic experience. All staff were very professional and hugely helpful. Great...

Palazzo Valletta Suites

3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (130)
"Easy enough to find, a number X4 bus from the airport into Valletta then a 5 minute walk. 1.5 Euros for the bus Owner and staff very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Full english breakfast a welcome bonus to start the day off. Lovely settings for breakfast, like a step back in time, very ornate with a personal touch, you feel like you're sitting in a National Trust property. Air Con in the room worked very well. Everything was clean and the room made every day. Kettle, coffee, tea...

Grand Harbour Hotel

2.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1000)
"Loved this privately-run hotel. It's a great price for Valletta, especially since breakfast is included. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a harbour view room, so had windows but no view. I was on the 6th floor, just a few steps from the lovely rooftop terrace which overlooks the Three Cities. You'll get fit here - there are quite a lot of steps up to the main drag of Valletta. Take the ferry to Birgu for a wander around and to see Fort St Angelo. Upon return to Valletta, you can take...

De Vilhena Boutique Hotel

3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (336)
"It's on a busy restaurant street. If you are facing that road be ready for noise (either from diners / happy go lucky folks in the evening / night time as well as cleaners / garbage collectors in the morning hours. The windows don't really noise insulate well. Staff are generally friendly. Good location in old town. More of a 3* hotel than 4* but I think this star inflation is common in Malta. "

"Staffs were wonderful.. Hazel and crew. Were very nice.. However: my booked rooms roof was leaking. Second room#5 was the best. The third nights room had smells and had to climb to my sleeping area. Middle of the night had to find my way down to the washroom going steep stairwells…."

"An older hotel. Relatively clean room. Tried some upgrading. The bathroom has been ungraded, but definitely on a budget as with the other renovation. Has an old musty hotel feeling. Okay for budget hotel if you can get it a low enough price"
