He was very apologetic for something that was out of their control but we’re grateful that he was able to accommodate. In fact the reception team during our stay were great. If I was to criticise, as we went during a low peak season, some facilities were out of use and the breakfast selections wasn’t as good for a 4* as I would have expected. "Casa Ellul is a small gem with an excellent restaurant. The chef was able to devise an outstanding dinner for us based on our vegan requirements. The staff were extraordinarily helpful, even coming around a tea time with treats. The location is in the historic part of Valleta but is still very quiet. Recent renovations have restored the character of the building with a modern touch. "
