I do recommend stopping for groceries before you arrive at the property as there is not a convenient grocery store close to the facility. "We were two families (8 people) and had plenty of space. We loved the quiet location--it took us about 25 minutes to get to Taos ski resort and 20 to get into Taos town. One thing to be aware of is that the upstairs master bedroom does not have a door--the entire upstairs is the master bedroom. This was fine for our group with older kids but just something to be aware of for those with younger kids.
