"This small B and B (5 rooms) is very beautiful and the decor is artistic and elegant. So much attention to detail. My bed was so comfortable, and the shower great. I enjoyed sitting the garden when I arrived for a glass of wine and snack. It's about a five minute walk to Santa Maria gate to Centro. Maria, the owner, and Nadia, her assistant, were welcoming and attentive. "

"The location was close to the promenade and beach. A lovely park was directly across from the property. It is a perfect place to walk to the train station, beach, restaurants and shops. It was a quiet location as well. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. The train made seeing Lucca and Cinque Terre a dream come true for me. I highly recommend this place. "

"This hotel is actually not a hotel but a few rooms attached to the villa volpi hotel, a 10 minute steep walk up the hill. All meals and staff are found at villa volpi, there are no real facilities to speak of at suite accommodation. It's not as discribed in the information at all. In fact, we chose to upgrade for €70/night to stay at villa volpi. I would recommend villa volpi but not suite accommodation "

"It is advertised as a Bed and Breakfast but in fact it starts June 01 through October. The shower was leaking from underneath and cause a pool of water in the bathroom. You could see previous damage of the walls and floor. The house is locate from a short walking distance to the historic city center walls which is convenient."

"We are just back from our stay and it was a truly genuine Tuscan experience. We were treated to a gorgeous meal on our night of arrival with our host Francesca and her family. She made us all the local dishes, we tried her stunning wines and we got so much advice on where to visit on our trip from her. She was so helpful, we just texted throughout our stay with any questions. The villa was stunning, and the pool was a huge hit with our teenagers. This is a great spot to explore from and we went...

"The road up is narrow and a little challenging but so worth the breathtaking views !!! The pool overlooking the hills and the manicured landscaping were top notch! We were close enough to a small town to enjoy the local restaurants good food, groceries and other towns to do day trips as well. The Villa had everything to make our Stay very comfortable. The little cottage allowed us two couples separate sleeping and bathroom privacy."
