"After a very long day in shuttles from Puerto Viejo, Gilberto was a very gracious, friendly and welcoming host. He quickly got us into our room and albeit "Happy Hour" was over, he set us up with a couple beverages and let us get settled. Our room had all the amenities we needed with a nice balcony and view of the tropical gardens. The breakfast was good with several options, and the pool and lounging area were the perfect addition after a day at Bahia Ballena and other excursions. The staff, Jess at the front desk, the cooking and cleaning crew were all wonderful and very friendly. There is a grocery store/deli, Steve's, right at the corner which was great to have, and a restaurant La Fogata directly across from it, with many more dining options just a few minutes walk away. We enjoyed our time in Uvita and happily recommend staying here. "

"We were a group of 8 traveling to Costa Rica for the first time, ages 23-67. This home and visit surpassed all of our expectations. It started with my first communication with Nicolas who provided me contact information to help complete our travel arrangements. They have a house manager on site who is there to assist you with anything you need. His wife Darling prepared several meals which we all enjoyed. The home is positioned on the mountain side and you are immersed in beauty with a variety of birds to include toucans visiting in the evenings and howler monkeys in the mornings. We did day trips to include a ATV tour and zip lining which Licho helped arrange and then we would come back to the home to relax and enjoy our evenings. The pictures of this beautiful home are not misleading and everyday we all woke saying how fortunate we were to have this experience and to have found this home to stay at for our vacation. Absolutely a beautiful home!"

"From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the attention to detail, cleanliness and beauty of the property. The home and kitchen were well equipped with everything we needed and situated in an excellent location with stores, restaurants and local attractions within a few minutes drive. The host Natasha was excellent at communicating and was very responsive the entire time from checking in, to checking out. She also made several restaurant recommendations and answered all my questions prior to coming to Uvita. Thoughtfulness, such as a bowl full of fresh fruit upon arrival was a nice added touch. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor space including the pool, were a dream! Only the bedrooms had air conditioning so the house did get extremely warm( the one and only negative). Not much of a breeze flows through this property. Still, even with that we can't recommend this property enough. If you're looking for the perfect getaway, look no further. "

"I loved the house. It had everything we needed. Lots of towels, bedding and supplies. The outdoor washer and dryer were so appreciated. We enjoyed the plunge pool and the outdoor space. I walked the Whales’s Tail every morning. Great location. Groceries and restaurants close by. Excellent! "
