"I had an amazing stay! The apartment was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the two toucans that visited us in the morning. They were flying around, perching on the trees, and watching us while we relaxed on the terrace. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and unique getaway! "

"This newly built property is beautiful and Aaron was a fantastic host, who knows all the great people & places to go in the area. WILDLIFE EVERYWHERE! I loved the sound of the river & birds in the morning with my coffee :-) The pool/property was amazing - snuggled in the middle of the jungle (rugged & authentic Costa Rica) I highly recommend this property & we will be back soon! We are rebooking for next year already...."

"The place was a bit unclean. There was an infestation of bats near our room somewhere in the ceiling. They also need to exterminate. Lots of cockroaches. The air conditioning was good, but no blankets just a sheet."

"We loved our stay at the Shelter from the Storm Villas. Pascal and Ginny were lovely hosts and we could not have asked for a more beautiful place to start our Costa Rica vacation. "The apartment was really nice and spacious. I definitely recommend this place. It would be nice to have a drying rack for wet towels, etc. The road to the apartment is dirt, so when it rains the road gets very muddy and can have lots of cars, so is tricky for walking along. "
