This place is excellent if you want to be close to Amsterdam but avoid the business. It’s located at one end of the Amsterdam Woodlands in Amstelveen, very close to Schiphol. "The property is classic center parcs with mainly aqua mundo as attraction. The activity center is quite basic. We stayed at a VIP marina apartment. It was quite specious and very well equipped. However, there is no air conditioning or ventilation opposing to what is stated in Expedia and no bug nets on the windows, which is quite a torture with hot august weather. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location is remote but also easy to get to local shops for supplies, either by car or bicycle.
