"We spent 11 days in Dan’s place. The apartment itself was great. This is a building with several units on multiple floors so a lot of people come and go. And they don’t all appreciate picking up as we ran across spilled food multiple times between the elevators and halls. The building seemed secure. The rooftop dog park was disgusting as ppl did not pick up after their pets. "

"We were here for a conference and were so close to the event center where it was held. I think it could’ve been helpful having resources of how to use the skywalks as I think we maybe could’ve used those to get to the event center if we knew. "The property was as advertised and in great shape. Perfect place for downtown Des Moines and good communication from host on checking in and out. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that outside of the loft and the first floor bedroom it could have used some auxiliary heating due to the cold. Since it was january a lot of cold air gets in through the window which isn't the fault of the host but just be prepared. We would use it again despite this. "
