"For me this trip was about picking the right location and having a clean well equipped place to stay. Very impressed how clean the unit was top to bottom. Shout out to that service! And location in the heart of Clive is central to anything you want to do in the metro and surrounding area. Put some money into upgrading worn out linens and rugs, plusher bedding and kitchen items such as a set of Pots/Pans, a Keurig and replacing chipped dishes and it would have been a 5 star!! "May I recommend a natural gas insert for fireplace. Not much of a screen watcher, I rather visit with a fire on when visiting in the winter. Otherwise the property was an excellent venue."

"We stayed here to celebrate our parents 40th wedding anniversary. There were 8 adults and 5 littles under the age of 4. There was plenty of space and we all felt like we had our own getaway when we needed it. The hosts are so thoughtful for families as they had some much stuff for kiddos! The house is set up great for family gatherings and was able to accommodate us well. Merle Hay offers lots of fun opportunities to get out and enjoy the city as well!"
