"What a wonderful and charming hotel! A perfect location and we had a great view of the Abbey from our room (room 2). There is noise from traffic outside as the hotel is on a main road but this is reflected in the excellent price and didn’t bother us at all. Parking is free which is a great perk when visiting a city and the staff are so courteous and efficient. The breakfast is super tasty and made from local produce. "I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. As usual i found the mattress on the bed too hard and the duvet too heavy and hot. I always carry my own pillows and a spare throw so I was able to lay on the top on the duvet doubled over with my throw over the top which solved both problems. As this is the start of a season, might I suggest the sills between the secondary sliding windows and the opening windows be cleaned. It would give a better impression. "A warm welcome from the Reception lady, who quickly got me checked in and was very helpful. Comfortable room, plenty of space and room for hanging clothes up. Nice restaurant with lots of food and drink options, the waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Nice walks from the door."
