"Stayed for a week and split time sightseeing between nearby mountains and Munich. The location worked great for this approach with lots to see and do within a 1 hour drive (we chose to rent a car). The apartment itself is great with a satisfying minimalistic approach that I appreciate, iIt is comfortable and quiet and perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The hosts were top notch with excellent communications and advice/help. Highly recommend."

Listing also did not mention large church across street that has loud bells that chime every 1/4 hour starting at 5 am. Host lives on property. there was lots of traffic in and out of property. "This location was perfect for a stay near Chiemsee. We were a short bike ride to the lake, to the ferry stop, to the train station or a short walk into town of Ubersee for a nice dinner our or an aperitif/shopping. The hosts were VERY friendly and accommodating. The bikes on site made our experience even better. We used the pool often and the spa. WE COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF THE VIEW! The kitchen had everything we needed. We will stay here again and recommend it highly."
