"Great location and grounds. Loved the cabana. The apartment was spacious but very dated. Lanai was quite dirty. We had to clean it ourselves prior to use. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Really enjoyed having base start up materials especially even laundry detergent. Having an in suite washer drier was wonderful. We would definitely return."

"This property gave my family everything we wanted in our vacation to Maui and more! The private beach and pool were perfect for our 3 year old to enjoy multiple times a day. Then we could walk right up to the condo to comfortably take naps and watch the turtles and whales from the lanai. The condo was clean but a little worn. Didn’t bother us a bit considering it is a beach front property. Spacious enough for our family of 7 to fit pleasantly. The complex property manager was a bit of a stickler...

"This unit has a rodent problem, do not leave food on the kitchen counters as you will find holes in plastic bags etc. Owner was notified and their response was to double the amount of traps that were existing in the room when we showed up. Clearly the owner knew of the issue. Unit is over-priced and payment terms are very one sided towards the owner. First bad experience we have ever had at the Whaler."
