"We visited Iceland for 2 weeks and this property was our favorite! The view of the ocean from the top floor was amazing! The filled hot tub was quite enjoyable. We have stayed at VRBO's all over the world and your property was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Kudos to you for this! Highly recommend this property!! "

"Greg and Magnea were amazing hosts. Their property is absolutely perfect for a big group like ours were. Plenty of rooms so you can spread the group out while also having big community areas to all hang out in. You could also spread out and have smaller group hangs outs as well. I could go on and on about how amazing this place was!"

"What a treat it was to stay hear after arriving in Iceland. Very spacious and well equipped - this was the perfect location to recharge after travel, relax in multiple rooms, watch movies, and catch up on laundry. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe and served as our jumping off point for daily adventures. Would have loved to stay longer!"

"Wir haben die letzte Woche und den perfekten Abschluss unserer Elternzeitreise mit unserem 8 Monate alten Baby im Backyard Village bei Oskar und Emma in Hveragerði verbracht. Die beiden sind wahnsinnig nett und immer erreichbar, die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber und wir hatten auch für unser Baby alles, was wir brauchten. Perfekt ist zudem die Lage. "Our family absolutely loved the Hekla Hilltop cabin. The hot tub, the record player, the "cave", and the location! Short drive to the Geyser and Gullfoss. The owners were great in all communications and made our trip very easy. This is especially helpfull in your first night in a new country. Highly recommneded!!!!!!!"

"Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön: geschmackvoll, komfortabel und mit herrlichem Blick auf den See, den wir jeden Tag aufs Neue genossen haben. Mitten im Golden Circle gelegen, kann man von hier aus viel erkunden. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Es war eine tolle Zeit, wir haben uns rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder."

"Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick über den Fluss. Da das Wetter sehr gut war, konnten wir die großzügige Terrasse mit den zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten nutzen. Ein Highlight war der tolle HotPot. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten."

"The property was absolutely beautiful. Lots of privacy, beautiful sunset and was able to catch a glimpse of northern lights during our stay. The dogs on the property were incredibly sweet and made the stay so much more memorable and fun."

"This is the definition of a cozy cabin. I absolutely loved my stay here! The host was amazing to work with and replied quickly to all emails I sent her. This is one of my favourite places I've ever stayed at! Highly recommend. The location, the vibes, and the view are all 10/10!"

"Entire experience was fantastic, great food, wonderful staff, nice hot springs, remote location with fabulous scenery and hiking, yet not far from Reykjavik. There were many positives about this very special and unique place, will definitely return in the future if possible."

"Bedroom was comfortable with a good, hot shower. Bed was really good and well needed after a long day exploring. Loved all the little hooks around the room for hanging stuff. (Would have liked a drying room in the hotel for our wet things!) The food options were good as was the bar (if both a little pricey compared to UK prices) Roof terrace was nice to look out over the little town. Bakery and supermarket very close for bits and pieces. Walkable in a few minutes. Would definitely return here. We had a hire car and it was about 45 mins to the airport. On the golden circle though so easy to access all roads to wherever we needed to go. "
