"Amazing stay, caravan was beautiful, modern, clean and in a quiet,beautiful location. Lovely hosts, very helpful and friendly. Highly reccomended, near the lakes for wild swims and the coast and touring the beautiful Lake District."

"We had a great holiday. We stay for 4 nights ( 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 6)). The lodge is very cosy and it is very spacious. My son was very happy watching the ducks swimming in the pond. Children watched rabbits running around outside the lodge. Our grandparents flew over from Lithuania and they were left awestruck. Highly recommended Many Thanks😊"

"Perfect location. Enjoyed my walks to the friendly village pub the sun inn where I was made to feel very welcome as a single traveller. Coffee and Tea facilities but no milk. Tidy clean and Matthew even lent me a uk charger. I left mine in Australia."

"Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed."

"The most peaceful and relaxing chilled out escape, the place is absolutely spotless / super clean, lovely views with lovey walks along the water, me my partner and dog loved it, highly recommend stayed 2 night but wish it was longer we will definitely be going back ❤️"

"Solway Cabin is a great choice for a little break, so much nicer than staying in a hotel! The cabin was spotless and has everything you need, we also really appreciated the comfy bed. We absolutely loved the small, secure garden area for our little dog, he also loved his view of the sheep! Lovely little hotel
"The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, and has a beautiful, warm interior. We received a lovely warm welcome from reception. Our room was immaculate and has everything we needed, including a lovely balcony looking out into the well maintained gardens. The spa is small but very nice and has stunning views from the hydro pool. The spa does need a little TLC in terms of the rusty vents above the pool, and the steam room wasn't working. Overall a really nice spa, and free for guests to use, which isn't always the case at some hotels. Our only gripe was the quality of some of the food we were served for our evening meal, and the time it took. We were also charged £10 to park our car in the hotel grounds."
