This retreat was the perfect blend of art, nature, and peaceful reflection. Every day started with a breathtaking sunrise at breakfast and ended with the most beautiful, jaw-dropping sunset at dinner. We even experienced a small earthquake and were treated to a delightful visit from a family of monkeys! The staff were incredibly attentive to all our needs, making the experience even more memorable. The local walk through the rice fields was definitely a highlight — a magical moment we’ll never forget. We’re so thankful for this incredible getaway!"

"The property is very beautiful, very clean and well maintained. . We stayed in Villa 1 right near the reception area with a private pool. The staff is super friendly, and courteous. All the staff members are very attentive to our needs. Every staff members say hello when they see us during our 4-day stay and paid attention to every small details (e.g. remembering our name and villa number). The restaurant on the property, Shrida, serves excellent dishes and the staff there are wonderful. We ate most of our meals at the restaurant because the food and service staff are excellent. The property is located right off the main street in town and is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants in a lively area. The transportation service, and local tour packages offered are excellent and reasonably price. We booked a full day tour that included visiting the nearly monkey forest, rice fields,, coffee farm, temples, and water falls and enjoyed it very much. Our driver and tour guide (Wayan) was super knowledgeable, friendly and very patient in answering all our questions. We took advantage of the spa package and had the best spa treatment on our trip to SE Asia. Overall, we had a wonderful time and so glad that we stayed at the Royal Kamuela. We could not be any happier with the services. We would recommend this property without hesitation. Thank you Royal Kamuela team for making our stay for our anniversary to memorable. "

"There is not anything I would fault with the hotel. The staff are so attentive. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and has a really good selection of everything. The evening dining options are also good. The location and shuttle into Ubud is a great addition. Just a fantastic tranquil location and hotel"

"Important: If booking, make sure the road giving access to the city center is fixed, or you will have to choose between a 20 min. detour or riding a scooter. Very kind staff and very clean rooms. Breakfast buffet is adequate and the pool is great but could be cleaner. The resort is beautiful and a calm getaway not too far from the city center (if the road gets fixed). The shuttle to the city center hours could be better, they cutoff before supper which is pretty annoying. I would gladly book here again."

"Very clean and comfortable hotel. Very close to the main road and all the surrounding areas at the center of Ubud. We stayed here twice. Rooms were quiet, clean and fresh. Good amount of space. Pool was nice. Breakfast had a decent variety. Staff were friendly. Close to everything and easy to walk everywhere from here."
