"This resort is simply perfect. The room was beautifully decorated in an understated way and absolutely spotlessly clean. The resort surrounds are beautiful. The staff were warm and friendly and defined perfect customer service - I have no idea how they remembered my wife and my first name and greeted us that way on every occasion. The food - in particular the breakfasts - was wonderful. 10/10. If there was a score of 11 I'd give it. "

"My stay at Bisma 8 was generally enjoyable. The spa treatments were relaxing and of high quality, and the breakfast offered a delicious options. "This was my 2nd stay at Artini 2 Cottages (last time in 2016). I love the traditional Balinese architecture and the fabulous, manicured garden setting wrapped around a crystal clear pool and dining area. The hotel is also very central to all the sights and attractions of Ubud, and the transport companies I used to travel to and from Ubud had their station just 400m from the hotel. Very attentive, kind staff and good breakfasts! This hotel is a winner in my book. One caveat... it is set well...

"Let me start by saying this is a beautiful property! From the moment you arrive you are treated like royalty. Someone is available and at your back and call 24 hours a day I felt so spoiled. The food options are beyond amazing and the quality of the ingredients they used blew me away. I ordered so much room service and it did not cost hardly anything. "The property is away from the hustle and bustle of the market of Ubud, which is good and bad as you it is a 20 minute walk to the market. The suites are good, although cleanliness has much to be desired...the turnover was done but garbage in the room was not cleared!!! Breakfast is not buffet style but rather al-carte...you choose what you eat from a menu."

"The front door was warped and barely shut. The doors had gaps in them letting outside air in. You have to keep the bathroom door shut because there are mesh windows in the bathroom that let hot air in. They were doing construction in the room below was loud as well. The front desk people were annoying and kept calling when I told them what I was doing. One older guy at the front desk charged me 50k for another room key. I found it and brought it back when I checked out. They said he shouldn’t...
