"Impeccable garden and walkways between buildings. However in dire need of major facility upgrade. First room we got was terrible, mold stench coupled with sewer smell from below and smoke from next door. Wanted to cancel the 2nd day and move to a different hotel but the staff gave us an upgrade to a more spacious, well-lit room. Stayed two nights in total. Beautiful gardens and friendly staff"

"I stayed at this property 27 years ago when I came to Bali for the first time and it was very quaint and cozy then. They have made tremendous upgrades and now it is a very lovely 4 star hotel with direct access to the lotus pond and view of the Puri Saraswati Temple.
