"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rock Pipit Lodge. The accommodation has been really tastefully decorated, has everything you need, and is very comfortable and cosy. The other great features are the art room, utility room and masses of games and puzzles on offer. The grounds are beautiful, too, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. On our first day we had a lovely walk from the top field to Lee Abbey and the bay, and it is a great base for local attractions such as Woody Bay...

"Communication and check in was easy and simple. We were provided with clear instructions on how to access the property and the amenities available in plenty of time. The property itself is large with plenty of room. It's quite eccentric and old but comfortable. Some areas were not as clean as we would have liked but it did not ruin the experience. "Had a lovely holiday week. We had the house and flat, ideal for our party of 9 and three dogs. Plenty of space for everyone to relax. Kitchens have just been refurbished, main house one wasn't quite finished but not a problem. Love the outside space too, enclosed garden for the children and dogs. Visited both the pubs for drinks and meals too, good food and welcome."

"I absolutly love the lodges. This was our 2nd year of staying at the Mole. My daughter particularly loves the hot tub. There is plenty of space to walk our dog too and an enclosed area where she can go off lead. Although this year there were a few disappointments. We were not left a doggie goodie bag, even though we had paid for our dog to stay. There were no robes in our lodge which are particularly useful when getting out the hot tub, so we struggled with drying towels for showers and hot tub...

"The pool was cold and sauna wasnt working. These were two of the main reasons we booked the stay. I rang before booking to ensure a pet friendly property was available and no one mentioned this. The accomodation was very basic with a really hard bed in the master. The kettle leaked from the base, there was broken glass underneath my son’s bed and one of the seats of the sofa was collapsed.
