"First impressions of the property was that it was lovely and warm, well appointed, nice decor and very comfortable beds. Due to horrific traffic we arrived considerably later than hoped, Chris and Freya were very accommodating. The kitchen was perfect for self catering, the log burner a treat and loads of hot water, perfect for a soak in the bath after a long days walking in the moor. I cannot fault any aspect of our stay. "We travel to North Devon every year and normally stay in Woolacombe. However, this year we went with another family and this collage was perfect for us all. We did have a hiccup at the start which was completely out of the host's control and Mark was absolutley brilliant in sorting us out. The accommodation is lovely and Mark is very attentive. We particularly liked the snug and the large kitchen, which was well equipted, plus a washer and dryer (fabulous!). Outside you can wash out...

"Owner never sent code to get in which I didn't realize. You have to phone them. Shower very moldy at each end of tracks and very slippery. Generally dusty. Garage parking not very safe to access. Double yellow lines in front and not easy to fold open. I picked this because i felt my friend who uses a cane could visit but not so. Garage floor which you went thru to enter was cobble stones. Back entrance long path with steps."
