"Private dock, simple yet clean and fresh-smelling room, excellent temperature control, excellent housekeeping during stay, private balcony with great view even from the back corner of the hotel, easy walking distance to both the Split and eateries/clubs in opposite direction, great breeze on this side of the island, friendly staff, prompt shuttle service to ferry, beautiful 360* view from Pelican Nest on roof, fresh water to refill cups every day, etc. We will be back!"

"Nice hotel with maybe a French decor for bedroom. Great restaurant with very nice seating options and great views. The only downside is that the bedroom had a horrible view of a brick wall for the adjacent building! "

"The Caye Hotel is in a great location on this island. It's right across from the water taxi, close to a large number of restaurants, and right off one of the main "roads". As of March 6th 2025, they are still working on adding elevators and a pool. It looks like they are nearing completion of the public rooftop area. Will be really nice once complete. The only issue we had was that the window style in the rooms (glass slats) do not seal out all noise, so you can hear the activity outside the hotel in the evenings. It did not bother us since we brought a white noise machine, but it is something worth noting."

"This is a beautiful island. Great vacation if you want a quiet, relaxing and secluded time. The food was amazing. You need to take a boat off the island to do excursions and that can be pricey. Also, if you like to watch TV at night, you should take a tablet, since the villas do not have TV’s."
