The hotel run excursions too, which was a huge bonus and the snorkelling trip was absolutely fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend. Very pleased with our stay here."

"My family and I just got back from our stay at Shaka Caye and I have to say that all of the positive reviews are dead on. The cottages are literally a step away from the beach and are well appointed (comfortable beds, plenty of space, hammock on the porch) with an amazing view of the ocean. We were picked up at the airport and driven to a small marina where we had a short 30 minute boat ride to the island. We were greeted with delicious drinks and smiles from the staff. Our bags were brought to our cottages and were given a mini tour of the island. We had no complaints whatsoever regarding our stay, but the 2 highlights for us were the absolutely AMAZING staff - Glenda the manager for keeping everything running smoothly, Obie and Michael at the bar with endless drink choices, Daisy for arranging our excursions, Edwin and Mark for our boat trips (2 snorkeling trips), the groundskeepers and lastly the kitchen staff. For the kitchen staff, this was by far the best all-inclusive food we've ever had compared to other resorts we've stayed at. Multiple choices for each meal, everything prepared fresh - DELICIOUS! Thank you to the Shaka Caye staff for an amazing vacation that we will always remember and cherish!!!"

"Great, big, clean and modern rooms. Located in a quiet residential area that is about 10-15 minute walk to an area along the ocean that has some restaurants. Comfy bed and nice pool area. "
