"Unique and interesting property. We stayed 2 days and received a complimentary upgrade to a large suite. Weather was rainy and cold, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor sitting area, but it looked lovely. Breakfast very good and our hostess congenial. Only criticism is that tables and chairs were very small and cramped for eating."

"We loved the Storytellers Villas. The location in Sintra was perfect for us, with the bus stop right across the plaza. Our villa had 2 rooms and 1 bathroom with plenty of hot water for washing dishes and showering at the same time. The beds were firm but not uncomfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The floors were wood with floor runners. The son of the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The house keeper had breakfast, continental, ready between 8:30...

"This hotel is basically a hostel and was just ok. The room we booked was on the third level and there was no air conditioning and it was very very hot. It was a short walk to our "guest house" along cobble stone streets but finding the check in counter at another location was difficult for our driver. Room was very bare bones but ok in cleanliness. When moving the side tables to find an outlet to plug in the lights there were some bugs but the windows needed to be open because it was so hot. I...
