"Eas nice. Close of the down town and castels. But... my God!!! If you want hot water... you have to wait 4-5... 6 minutes. You open the valve and go do something else. We think they order it from Lisbon. "

"The staff especially Rueben were all very wonderful! I loved my stay there. Just be aware the road outside is closed to traffic but they will give you a code so a driver can access. I was there during the terrible Martinho storm and the road was closed so the owner actually carried my luggage up the hill for me! I will definitely come back! "

"Amazing hotel. Gorgeous views. Clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and eye catching. Breakfast was nice. Staff extremely pleasant. The hotel was at the top of the town so there is some climbing involved. But the steep street right down into town starts 100 feet up the street. Not too bad even for someone walking with a cane. We found an amazing restaurant right around the corner where we had one of the best meals we have ever had-Tacho Real. A lovely interior. Highly recommend the sea...

"The hotel was located on the slope which you need to walk with care from slipping. Is dangerous for old people. The room is a good size to place luggage’s. Shower water pressure is great. But the toilet area is tight if the person is big size might have a hard time getting in. Does not have space to place toiletries at the sink area."

"This is a beautiful property outside the hustle and bustle of the town of Sintra. It helps to have a car if staying here, but Uber is an option. Breakfast is delicious and the staff are wonderful. Armie runs the place and is very friendly and efficient. She makes sure everyone has a positive experience. We are within walking distance of Pena Palace and the Moors castle. Even walking into town is only 25 minutes. You won't regret staying here!"

"Great breakfast we had just left Hilton Porto Hilton can learn how to serve a continental breakfast from Vila Vitorino! Parking was great a smaller space but large compared to some of the other property in Sintra."

"This was a great little spot for my initial visit to Portugal. Centrally located, super clean, excellent customer service. I did not opt for the breakfast option so I can’t speak to that, but I did appreciate how sweet the breakfast area was, and all of the variety of options available to those who might choose them. Everyone with whom I came in contact was polite and respectful and helpful, impressively so. I would definitely visit again, however, I would ask for a room on the top floor...

"The location was good not to noisy or busy. Didn't realise it was right next to Benfica stadium and there were a couple of matches on while we were there. Bathroom was knackered, sink area needs replacing as water damaged over a long period of time. One dishwasher tab provided and a tea towel. No oven gloves or and other kitchen cleaning stuff. "We will stay here again. We were surprised at all the abandoned buildings covered in graffiti. It made us feel unsafe. Although we will stay here again if it is a quick trip to Lisbon. We stayed in Madeira Island for 10 days but came over to Lisbon for the Portugal vs Denmark game so only needed a quick stay near the airport for 2 nights. It was perfect for that. Hotel itself is very clean, nice complimentary breakfast, staff were very very helpful and accommodating. We were safe, we didn't leave the hotel and walk in the area."

"The receptionist was very pleasant and efficient. I had a very early departure from the hotel (3:30 AM). She proactively offered to help me with transportion arrangements, a wake up call (from a real live human being -- they still have those in Portugal!) and a packaged breakfast to go. "

Wonderful hotel, a must stay in Sintra!

"We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the NH Centro Sintra, who were extremely helpful. We were delighted to be upgraded to a gorgeous Valley view room that had a balcony / terrace with beautiful views over Sintra including the Castelo dos Mouros and the Quinta da Regaleira. Breakfast was fantastic, my mum who is a very fussy eater, said it was the best hotel breakfast she had ever had. The service wasn’t OTT, but they were attentive. The restaurant had views across the valley and we even witnessed a rainbow! We had a few drinks at the bar and the staff were wonderful. They didn’t have the wine I requested so the barman asked my preference and chose a gorgeous wine based on that. The location of the hotel is second to none (although ignore the route on Google Maps as it takes you all around the houses and up very steep sets of stairs - not ideal with cases!) with the incredible views from the back and the front coming out into the historic square. Do not let the outside of the hotel put you off, the inside is beautifully decorated and the rooms are really well appointed. We can’t wait to return! "
