"1.5 miles from the entry to Palo Duro CanyonPark entrance. Delightfully quiet. Comfortable, safe. Owners communicated with me promptly and completely. No confusion with which cabin it was, nor how to get in. Small, but good for 2 folks. Clean. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hideout! This cabin was a perfect spot for our family of 3 on our long weekend trip to Palo Duro Canyon! The extra amenities like bath bombs, makeup wipes, even fresh eggs in the fridge were an awesome cherry on top of this stay! The location was so convenient for getting into the state park and also so nice to have the Sad Monkey just up the road for a casual lunch or dinner! We’ll definitely be back here again!"

"Good area"

"We are on a 5 week camper van trip, and this was our only stop where we didn’t stay in our van. It was so nice to have space to move, a kitchen, washer dryer and fenced yard for the dogs. Super close to hike Palo Duro and we did a little shopping in town. Enjoyed a couple local restaurants too! The owner communicated well during unusual windstorms and aftereffects. "

"We absolutely loved staying at Rider’s Roost. We loved being surrounded by such beautiful animals and enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. Its proximity to Palo Duro Canyon made it so convenient. Andrea was such a gracious host and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. If you want a quiet getaway and love a rustic and western vibe you will absolutely love it. "

"Being a mile and a half away from the state park and other things to do around the canyon was very convenient. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much."

"We were greeted at the house by Beverly who had margaritas and guacamole and chips at the ready! She was awesome at telling us everything we needed to know and then some. The house was incredibly comfortable and stocked with everything we could possibly need. We were less than 5 minutes from the park entry and enjoyed it tremendously. So beautiful! And I need to mention the views from the back porch were also stunning! We hit a bump in our trip when hurricane force winds and a severe dust storm knocked out power to the area and water to the house. Beverly was on top of things and stayed in communication with us. We sadly had to cut our trip short because of the storm that hit the panhandle, but we would love to come back!"
