"Das Schiff und die Kabinen sind groß und in Ordnung, die Einrichtung ist aber auch schon etwas abgenutzt. Der Anspruch entspricht überhaupt nicht dem Preis (2 ÜN mehr als 700 Euro) und der Leistung. Das erste Mittagsbüffet war noch die beste Mahlzeit. Furchtbar waren die beiden abendlichen sogenannten Menüs: kaum Geschmack und durchwachsenes Rindfleisch als "Steak". "Good value for money, staff were great, food was plentiful and fresh, rooms could do with a spruce up but comfortable bed and had own bathroom/toilet. Crew were really helpful and they made the trip fun for all passengers. Squid fishing was fun and making Vietnamese spring rolls. Disappointing to see so much trash in the sea, although this is out of control of this particular cruise boat."

"The ship is definitely older but functional. Friendly staff and helpful. Bring water as they charge for it through the cruise (all beverages are for sale). They need to improve their timetable as all boats are trying to do the same activities at the same time leading to the sites being extremely crowded (the second morning the sites were empty!). Overall worth it but if I was to go again, I would do a longer cruise or a day cruise."

Fabulous!

"Wonderful resort with breathtaking view from our room. Room is very clean, nice and comfortable. The staffs are very attentive, polite and helpful. Got our breakfast coffee made by Mr. Huy Thắng, very appreciate with the care by the staffs here. We love here so much that we extended our stay for another 2 days. The only thing need to be improved is the restaurant here is a little pricey for dinner and didn’t have much choices, had to go out for dinner. Other than that, we are really love this resort. Will come back again soon."

"Very luxury feel on the boat. Staff very friendly and attentive. Great food options and they catered very well for dietary requirements. Only negative was that the evening canapés/drinks on the top deck felt a little tacky and slightly like a school disco at times, and the canapés were not great (half a grape on a slice of stale baguette)."

"I had an absolutely amazing stay at Meritel Hanoi! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their hospitality was exceptional, always friendly and attentive. The room was fantastic—beautifully designed, clean, and incredibly cozy. It was like a birthday cake—sweet, delightful, and perfect in every way! Every detail, from the amenities to the ambiance, was top-notch. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi. I can’t wait to stay here again!"

"The cruise was breathe taking. The views and scenery as you sail out through the limestone eyelets in Ha Long Bay was just unbelievable. The staff on the ship were top notch when it come to custom service and making you laugh and smile. From karoke to kayaking, wooden boat trip to cooking class, they made sure you were comfortable and safe. Would recommend this to everyone"
