"Expedia screwed up, she has been closed since January due to her husband being ill and they never canceled us or let us know. Miss Maureen was so sweet and made calls to make sure we had a place to stay since everywhere was booked (it’s busy season) one of her friends had space for us and made sure we were well taken care of!"

"We wanted to visit Galway and looked for a place to stay. Michael was a great host and the room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious. Definitely will stay here next time we visit Galway. "

"Our stay at the Camillaun Lodge was wonderful. A beautiful idyllic setting in the woods a short walk into town for pubs and restaurants. Breakfast was terrific and hosts are very friendly and helpful. The perfect Irish B&B experience!"

"It was good except there was no power when we woke up. Not sure when the power went out but not able to bathe or leave with charged phones. "

"Àine and her family were amazing and so welcoming! She was quick to help us out with tips about the town, and where to get some much needed take-away after a long day of travel. The room was cozy and private, and the bath was restful. She also made us a delicious packed breakfast that we took with us and ate as a picnic on the cliffs of Moher. Lovely stay, will definitely be back!"

"Reserved a room for my daughter who was visiting Galway from Dublin, for a day. My decision was based on location and other positive guest reviews. The hotel lived up to it's positive rating; my daughter loved her stay. The hotel is very conveniently located right next to the main train/bus station and everything is in walkable distance to it with lot's of dining spots all around. The room was neat & clean with a comfortable bed. Would stay here again."

Best Location and better Customer Service!

"The location can't be beat. It is literally on Eyre Square in the heart of Galway, right next to 10 Euro a day carpark and 2 minute walk from the Train station. The breakfast was huge and tasty. I will definitely return. The part that stood out was the customer service! From reception to the dining room to the cleaning staff everyone was so nice and went above and beyond the usual. They didn't just help. They took the time to chat and offer advice. It was so welcoming. WELL DONE TO ALL!"

"Due to the power cuts we had to book in to a hotel instead of staying at the in laws. We needed one near the hospital to visit my mother in law. Was only a 30 minute walk to the hospital and was a really nice walk. Hotel was lovely, can’t fault it."
