"Lovely to see a proper village pub so busy on a couple of weekday nights in Mid-January. And quite rightly so - friendly staff, friendly locals and friendly guests. Breakfasts were great, dinners delicious and very reasonably priced (wife said the Rib-eye steak was the best 'pub steak' shed ever had and my chicken goujons were fantastic. "

"This is an old building and part of the charm of the village. A lovely breakfast and welcome. The room was spacious and warm. The hotel does need refurbishment and some decoration but it is central and close to the shops and restaurants "

We didn’t have to think about anything. It was very relaxing. The bed was so comfortable and the bath was huge. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the near future. "

"Was greeted by owner on arrival and led to my room, very hospital and partner too, who went out their way to personally call me and confirm location of accommodation so i did not get lost. Room was lovely and warm on arrival, bed was terrific ... a great nights sleep. Will definitely go back when in area again."
