"Hazel was amazing, friendly, and super communicative. She cares about your stay and wants you to feel welcome, comfortable, and happy. The studio is in an ideal location and walkable to Donner Lake. We wished we could have stayed longer and can't wait to return soon. The trail in the back area is magical and before we left we saw a few deer. I'm going to remember this trip for a long time. "The condo was nice and accurately described. The bed was comfortable, lots of hot water with good water pressure. Kitchenette was well stocked. The balcony could have used a little love/upgraded furniture . It was dirty, dusty with ? Owners dusty shoes, two painted bird houses and a plastic sled and some other stuff all covered in thick dust and cob webs. The table was wobbly and dusty. It would have been a nice place to drink morning coffee. I was disappointed that it cost $20/pp per day to use...

"We were at Northstar for a wedding in July. The unit is extremely well-equipped with coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, dishes, great towels, shampoo and conditioner, etc. Bed and pillows very comfortable. One night the AC went out and we were unable to restart. Ultimately we flipped a circuit breaker and restarted. Owner very responsive, send repair crew next day (already solved). "The studio was fine… smaller than we thought and the building as a whole was pretty dated, but the studio seemed updated. Location wasn’t bad, close enough drive to town, but away from the crowds. Walls are paper thin, so you hear everything going on around you in all the other units. It worked for what we needed, but will look elsewhere next time."

"Everything was broken in this unit. We were here on 4th of July weekend. This unit has no air conditioning, so expect to die in the heat. Also, the refrigerator is broken, so don’t buy food unless you want it to rot! Lastly, very poor communication with property management. 10/10 do not recommend"

"Great location! Ski week with my son and it could not have been better. 5 minute walk to ski center/lodge and recreational facilities! Kitchen was adequate for our needs, beds comfortable. Plenty of room for my son and I. Would be great for 3 people and potentially 4 if smaller/younger. Would rent again!"

"Love coming to Northstar! The facility is beautiful! The rooms are great. The communication is easy too. Of course we come during off season, so the downside is a lot of the shops and restaurants can be closed. Some of the pool areas were also closed. Truckee is so close though you have options there. Plus this hotels has activities that you can sign up for some are free and some you pay. I liked the theater option! The scenery around is just beautiful! "
