"It was a really nice cabin it had everything one needs. The bathroom had heated floors and a defogging mirror. The main room was small but really cozy. The living room had a tv with many channels included that made watching a movie really easy. The washer and dryer were a big plus. We didn’t bring back any dirty laundry. "Great property with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone had their own space. We really enjoyed the large kitchen for cooking together and the back porch bbq area for hanging out while cooking. The living room has plenty of seating for relaxing and eating/playing board games. We also appreciated that this property had plenty of parking spaces. Overall, we loved our stay and would stay at this property again in the future. "

"My family stayed at this cabin over Labor Day weekend. It fit 8 adults comfortably. The location was perfect, with public piers right across the street. It was also a short drive to Old Truckee. The beds were very comfortable and all the furniture was cozy. The only downside was the size of the shower stalls, which were a tight fit for all. Overall, however, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to anyone."

The pros: spacious, clean, great deck with hot tub that has easy top lift, surrounded by pines, great view of golf course, fun games in loft, nice beds upstairs. The cons: microwave did not work, the deck was covered thick with pine needles that we had to sweep, the fire pit did not have a cover but we found it later on the side of the house so we put it on the fire pit, the downstairs bed is uncomfortable and noisy. "This "cabin" is an architectural fantasy of design and architecture. It has all the amenities one would ask for. The decor theme was "rustic cabin" on steroids throughout. The sauna was huge, the master suite was delightful. I really enjoyed the shower and tub. The heat pump hydronic heat kept the place comfortable. If you have your passes you can ski in. You can enjoy all the Northstar HOA amenities during your stay. I would recommend this place to anyone!"

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Seemed like the whole place had just been redone - very clean. The setup worked well for our group with my elderly in laws staying on the main floor and my family with kids under 12 staying on the lower level. Lots of space indoors to hang out. Only negatives are that we couldn't get live TV - usually not an issue but we wanted to watch the Olympics. Netflix was available though so kids were happy :) And no table on the back deck to eat. But we enjoyed lovely happy...
