"Package got delivered to hotel. Hôtel told us that they did not receive a package and nothing was in the mailbox. When we checked in the package was in their mailbox and the lady at the front desk (aka the owner) said, “oh yea, I didn’t check the mailbox, it’s just easier to tell people that we don’t accept packages or didn’t get them.” That cost us an extra $4k on our trip. "Miguel is a wonderful host as is his wife Maria. Their bespoke room was perfectly equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Exceptionally clean. We shortened our stay as we had seen all we needed in Menton. Our only gripes are the many steps to climb back up to the room if you walk into town for an evening meal. Anyone with heart/breathing difficulties would struggle with this. The garden is a beautiful spot looking out over the med, sadly the room is facing their home so...
