"Everything was exactly as the listing describes. The views and the kitchen drew us to this listing, what we found in real life was so much better in person. First, we met Alessandro who met us in person and introduced us to the place and how it works. That was very helpful. He gave us very good recommendations, all of which were excellent! "Serge and his family were wonderful- welcoming and informative. The photos (of both the view and the villa), while beautiful, do not do the place justice. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Menton is a lovely town, and a stay at this villa grants you (hilly) walking access to all Menton has to offer. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen if you choose to stay in and enjoy the view. Thank you Serge, we'll be back! "

"Immaculately clean and well-equipped apartment with good internet and smart TVs in all rooms. Good quality (and quiet) air conditioning throughout and was much needed. Pool was clean and well looked after. Hosts live upstairs and were kind and helpful. Only drawback is the A8 motorway which can obscure the beautiful view of the valley and does have some noise which is only heard when outside the property. We had a great stay!"

"This is a great space for a family group - superb outdoor areas, great views and lots of space. two points to note: the road up is degree-level driving and, although close, Dolceacqua isn’t really walkable from the property"

"We had a great week in Menton in this central villa. Everything you need is so close by. The pool, BBQ and terrace were perfect. The house has lots of rooms and is well stocked with towels and kitchen equipment. It is quite cluttered with furniture and ornaments but everything is clean. We had an issue with the broken dishwasher door and the water temperature during our stay. The good weather and location made this a great week."

"Many thanks to Leonardo for letting us stay in his amazing period family home. We had a wonderful time with both France and Italy on the doorstep. The highlight was the swimming pool and views plus the very well located shop at the bottom of the drive (much needed for 5 hungry teenagers!). Couple of issues on the first day but most were cleared up immediately by Leonardo. Thank you again."

"Villa Anka is a litlle bit difficult to find as this address is not on google maps.The location is really in the sky, good for hiking. Not so convenient to go down to the sea as the road is really difficult, steep and narrow. The house is older, but still fine. Great collection of music - 60s, 70s- we really liked that. Unfortunatelly no free wifi. The view from the balcony was awsome."

"We loved staying at the Case Cassini when visiting Bordighera! You have to have a car to stay here and the winding mountain roads are not for inexperienced drivers, but it's a lovely place to relax and the pool is very refreshing with stunning views. There are also great roads and paths for hiking and running. "We stayed for 7 days with family. The pool was amazing especially for 3 boisterous young boys. The house itself was jaded but perfect in that we didn’t need to be too precious. The kitchen was small but adequate well stocked with crockery but no chopping board. Mr Lopez would come daily and remove the rubbish and was available if we were to need him. "Where to begin? The “villa” had only one correct description. Magnificent views (only seen if you are standing…). None of the four advertised bedrooms were usable due to toxic extremely strong smell of the mildew. Black mold on the ceiling in all bathrooms, wet linens due to humidity, unkept grounds, weak wifi, pigeon excrements in the outside “pizza oven” but the best is yet to come! "The villa is huge and was spotlessly clean on arrival. There was everything we needed for a self catering break. The pool was beautiful as were the grounds. The real stand out for us though was the view, the best of anywhere I have ever stayed. The road up to the villa was steep and narrow but there are lots of passing places and we soon got the hang of it. Communication from Roger was excellent both before and during our stay. "Raymond took care of us from start to finish, from greeting us to sharing his fresh picked oranges and lemons. The house is perfectly situated on the edge of the city with a bus stop right across the street that brings you right downtown. The three good sized bedrooms were more than enough for our family of five and even my mom at the end of the trip. Would highly recommend to anyone with a family and hope to visit again🙂"

"The flat is centrally located, just behind the tourist information centre in Menton. The host, Alessandra, very friendly, supportive and helpful lady. The only drawback is that there is no lift in the building.. We had lovely time in Menton. Wish to visit again and stay at the same flat in near future. "

"Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr sehr klein und geht über 2 Etagen. Die Küche unten ist eine "Einbahnstraße". Beim Kochen war es sofort sehr heiß in der Wohnung. Das Bad war winzig, aber ok, hätte sauberer sein können. Die beiden Schlafzimmer oben sind geräumig. Das eine ist ein Durchgangszimmer mit Klappbetten. Matratzen sind aber ok. Klimaanlage funktioniert gut und kühlt beide Schlafräume oben. Allerdings oberer Balkon kaum nutzbar da Tür wegen Klinaanlage verschlossen bleiben musste. Unterer...
