Salt maybe? Lots of furniture in shoddy shape and lots of weird brown splotches on the wall (dead bugs?). The bed was weirdly uncomfortable - super hard foam, hard enough to cut off circulation in my arms, which slowly sunk over the night to end up being both way too soft and still super hard.
