"We love our stay at this place! It’s right in the heart of Jiufen. Living here for days gave us an authentic taste of what it is like to live in the Taiwanese mountains. The second floor view is absolutely spectacular. Top of the mountain unobstructed view where we can see the harbors and northern ocean. Loving waking up to see this view everyday! The place is also clean and quiet. Location is excellent, go up the stairs you are immediately in the Jiufen old street where all the actions are. Couple steps and you can see the famous lanterns. Plenty of food choices from all of these options. The staff and service were beyond and above! We arrived during a pouring rainy day, they gave instructions to our taxi location, waited for us, and transported our luggages for us via moped. They delivered fresh homemade breakfast to our room everyday, which was godsend cuz all the mornings were pouring. And we did not have to get wet. When we were leaving they arranged a taxi that can drive up right next to us to save us some walking. We later learn that not many Airbnbs here provide personal greet and meet and luggage services anymore, this one is an exception. They are super responsive via Line chats as well, answering all of our questions and logistics planning. We highly recommend this place to all of our friends. We will be back! Lastly, Jiufen old street itself requires a lot of walking and stairs. Just be prepared for that! "

"The property is in a prime location close to Jiufen Old Street. The rooms are very nice and come with many amenities and snacks. But above all the staff are super accomodating and friendly. 10/10 for the room and 11/10 for the service"

"We were in Jiufen while Typhoon Krathon was still at sea considering whether to devour Taiwan. On the day of our check-in, my friend and me arrived late due to a series of unfortunate events that begin with missing the last bus from Taipei. Kevin, the affable owner of the place, not only stayed up to welcome us and give us an introduction to the room, but also updated us on the latest situation in Jiufen due to the typhoon forecast. More importantly, he offered invaluable insights on what to expect in the coming days. Our ‘Deluxe Double’ room with bay-view was spacious with a comfortable bed, table and seats. Aircon, Wifi and water heater all work as they should. The water pressure was awesome and the TV had ample channels to surf. However, it would be better if the power sockets were located nearer to the bed. Mysteriously, a few small insects still managed to infiltrate our room even though all the windows and doors were closed. There are some amenities like a hair dryer and hangers, with a useful humidifier in the corridor. At the common area downstairs, there is a hot/cold water dispenser and a fridge we can use if need. Kevin was a great host whom we can easily chat with and we’re glad we stayed at his place during our trip to Jiufen. Will definitely come back again when the skies are brighter in future."
