"Our free upgrade to a beautiful king size room with balcony was just what we were looking for in our short Torquay stay. "Kind and lovely people, lovely chat and they really cared. Very much a spare room in the end of their house with a it’s own bathroom so very homely. Breakfast room was a breakfast room with lots of stuff and a cat (I loved the cat). It’s down a very rough and rocky track in the car. Basically it’s an authentic working farm with some lovely farmers who make a solid breakfast. I’d be back. If you are looking for a polished hotel experience this isn’t for you but for a real life nice people...

"We had a lovely stay at the Big Barn. Communication was exemplary, Jenny was very helpful and friendly, and the house itself is beautiful. We were there for new years - three families and adults and kids all loved it. The kitchen is great for cooking and very well equipped and the living area has a stunning fireplace - very cosy. The surrounding area is beautiful with beaches, great walks and pubs all nearby."
