"Hostel El Refugio had all the comforts of home including a warm hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable beds with fresh linens in a private room, and private bathrooms. My visit was during fall when temps were colder. The hostel was always warm after a day outdoors. The owner Luis was very kind and accommodating, making sure you have everything for a perfect visit. "LOCATION: the location is ok, Puerto Natales is a small town ~20k people so pretty much anywhere you stay is going to be close to the Plaza de Armas and Marina. SERVICE: the staff was good, when they were around. Katie helped me book my tours and gave me some great recommendations. AMENITIES: basically none. It’s a bare bones hostel. "The cabin we stayed in was simple and old. The beds were comfortable and we had hot water without any problems. The WiFi does not work during peak usuage hours and needs to be upgraded.
