Torres del Paine Hosteria
This is an incredible place, feels like a boat in an island/lake. Probably the best place to stay inside Torres del Paine, except EXPLORA at $1800/night. Incredible views.

Dirty Rundown Hotel with Uninterested Staff
I would not recommend staying at Hosteria Pehoe unless you are staying there one night so you have easy access to take sunrise/sunset photos over the lake (but you can get almost as good of a photo from the road right outside the hotel). When we checked in, they said that Expedia had not sent our reservation and that they didn't have a room for us. I wish I would have just said OK and found somewhere else to stay. They were helpful in rearranging rooms so we could stay for our entire planned 3-night duration. Other than that, and the helpfulness of one of the male waiters, the staff was disinterested in helping guests, except for a select few who received an inordinate amount of attention. The room was filthy to the point that we considered wearing shoes into the shower. There is also a sign in the bathroom for when it was last disinfected, sanitized, and de-rat-ified. Ours hadn't been disinfected since the beginning of March (we were there in April) and had not been sanitized since at least 2016. The bedsheets had stains on them and we both wished we had brought sleeping bags instead. In addition, it seemed as if all the double rooms we saw had two twin beds instead of any full or queen sized beds. Finally the food was not good. It was bland and tasteless and took a long time coming out. I would not recommend staying at this hotel and if I were to go back and book hotels again I would choose to camp at the cheap campsites instead of this hotel. Also, it is REALLY EXPENSIVE!

The hotel sitting in an excellent scenery
After three days of trekking, we stayed at Hosteria Pehoe for two days. Hosteria Pehoe locats on a small island of Lake Pehoe, and is a very good place for relaxing and photographing. The breakfasts included were pretty good, and lunch/dinner were expensive. The dinning room view is excellent with Cuernos del Paine. Other good places to view Torres del Paine during sun rise/set are the backside of the island and the hill across road.

The most wonderful views from the dining room
Stay there just for the views otherwise You need a sense of humour to stay there. At breakfast you can wait ten minutes coffee cup or bowl. But beware! Leave your table for a few seconds to get something from the buffet and your cup or bowl will be whisked away by an over zealous waiter. What is on offer is ok but again replenishing the buffet is a slow business. At dinner nothing is priced. Which can be a problem if your Spanish is poor. You have a choice from 2 starters 2 mains and 2 sweets. Again the food is ok and not exhorbinantly expensive, especially given the wonderful views from your table. A problem çan occur if you order a bottle of wine. There are wines on show in the dining room. Many of the wines are not on the wine list (which you only get if you ask for one) only the computer knows the cost. Whilst most bottles are very reasonably priced and good, some are much more expensive. The staff are polite and helpful but the organisation appears chaotic. Go just for the views!

Cosy retreat in the most spectacular location
After a long day of hiking in the elements this is a great place to retire to. A cold beer and a warm bed was never so appreciated! If you don't want to camp or stay in refugios you can absolutely use this as a base to day hike parts of the W circuit. It's expensive for the facilities but that view is priceless!

Only good for overnight stay in parc.
Room is shabby. Low safety focus, like loose wires and cables in and outside room. Owner of hotel unsympathetic and unhelpful, when it comes to requests related to money (pay with dollars and pesos), transfer, or tour arrangements). Don't stay here when you don't have (own) transportation. There are no transfer options to and from the hotel unless you want to spend a high amount per person for a 10 min one way transfer. Hitch hiking is what you can do to get to a starting point to hike. Better option when you don't have transportation and you want to stay in a hotel, is to stay in Puerto nuevos. Although you need to travel 2,5 hours into the parc; there are more tour and transfer possibilities, so you are more flexible. Room with a view is pricier. Three course lunch and dinner with two options for each course for twenty five pp.

Beautiful location but a deception
When we arrived, the room with view to Torres del Paine we had reserved was taken. I had phoned one week earlier to reassure my reservation, so it really didn't fit when they told me the reservation had just appeared from expedia the day we would arrive. They put us on a terrible room instead, in which the bathroom had a dirty floor, specially under the door, it was full of hair, it was really really filthy. Actually there was always a hair on top of everything, in the bathtub, on the sink, even on the bedsheets!! :( At least they charged our two nights in the lower-level bedroom type and offered a 25% discount in our dinner, which could, honestly, have been for free. We paid a lot, even with the discount, for a menu with a pumpkin soup that tasted like nothing, a meat with rice and beans (ops, the rice was over, so they served fries instead) and a tiny artificial-tasting dessert. But that's ok, we could handle it... everything is very expensive in Torres del Paine, the food is very simple and the service is slow...we found it out the next days. But cleanliness and good sense are essential!
