"Elke and Wout are lovely. They are generous, kind, and sensitive hosts. Their home is beautiful. "Bin in bathroom had previous occupants rubbish. Bin in bedroom not emptied during entire stay. Pubic hairs in corner of bathroom, still there 5 days later. Sheets not changed for 5 nights despite cut elbow blood on sheets on first night and 27-30 degree heat. If opened window before 10pm fumes from next door extractor fan enveloped room and no air con available just fan for 30 degree heat. "

"This property was perfectly located, walking distance to every turistic place. Was clean, the staff was very sweet, and they have free water, coffe and hot chocolate at the lobby. Breakfast was amazing also. I would definitely recommend."

Great place to base yourself in Ghent

"This lodging was ideal for a visit to Ghent. I picked it for its location (5 minute walk from StPieters train station but loved everything about it. Staff was friendly, efficient and very helpful. Room was large by European standards. Buffet breakfast (with made to order eggs and mini pancakes) was excellent. Its location near the train station and tram stop made it easy to get to and from Brussels and to get into the historic center for sightseeing. The hotel even sold the Ghent City card - worth it if you visit at least most of the sights in town and use the tram. If I could I would rate this lodging an 11 out of 10. We are world travelers and this place is a gem. Also around the corner is Traiteur Toulouse - excellent food at a reasonable price. Also recommended by the hotel. "

Excellent, very friendly and helpfulreceptionists!

"The staff went above and beyond to fullfil all my needs. The temperature in the room was rather cold (very cold weather outside) and I couldn't figure out how the air con works. The receptionist listened to me carefully and then then sent someone to only adjust the temperature in the room but left an additional heating unit in my room should if I need it. the only reason I gave 4 starts for comfort was the noise from outside. The location is central and I had a wonderful view from my room. It was just a bit loud. Maybe should have brought earplugs. Apart from that, both receptionists I had the pleasure of talking to were extremely welcoming, nice and polite. Really appreciate it, thank you! :)"
