It was a great little space for my family of 5. Very close to all of the things we wanted to see and do while we were in Ghent. Two issues that were awkward, there was no place to take the rubbish from our room. With 5 of us there was quite a bit to deal with, and the laundry facilities were a bit of an inconvenient walk. We thought per Expedia that there were on site laundry facilities, this was not the case.

I originally had a different hotel booked but changed to this one at the last minute since it was closer to the city center and I read another review saying how it was very close to a parking garage. It ended up being ideally located, especially its proximity to the parking garage. The exit door from the garage is literally across the street (literally a few steps since it isn't a wide street) from the entrance to the hotel! The hotel room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, there was a kitchenette in the room, and it was close enough to walk around the city. If you just need a place to sleep, this is just fine. It's clean, comfortable, and affordable. If you do plan on driving, be aware that the hotel is located in a "low emissions zone" so the vehicle you drive must comply or you can be fined. Google "low emissions zone" and Ghent to fully understand what this means if you plan to drive! I would definitely stay here again.

Great location in the old part of the city, the property looks to be buildings that were once part of the old university. Lovely light room. As shown in the photos though better. Had no issue with the bed against the wall. Would recommend & stay again.

I loved the old feel of the place. I take it that is was an old seminary as it’s on semanariestraat. What a great use of the beautiful building. The bed was super cosy and the apartment was so well appointed. Central to everything. Absolutely brilliant. I will definitely book to stay again Dank je wel !

This hotel had easily the largest room that we have ever had for a hotel stay, while also being very clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and helped us with any requests, such as helping us with taxis and providing an umbrella for us when we weren't prepared for rain. As for location, you will need to take a taxi from the train station, but everything in the city center is very walkable, making exploration simple. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would choose them again if we return to Ghent in the future.

Builders start at 7am sharp right outside our window. Eaten alive by mozzies ........ Room decor is a little dark. Good location and easy stroll into main area. Bag storage is a good facility.
