"Great location - front entrance is through a bike store, the back entrance leads to the bus terminal and the ferry terminal. Staff was helpful and provided recommendations for touring the lake and food options. The rooms were Totoro-themed and spacious. Sound-proofing was not the best, but sufficient for a good rest. "

"GH house is a small, friendly hotel close to the main attractions in Lukang — the beautiful Mazu temple and the old streets of the town. The rooms and clean and roomy and quiet. The manager was very friendly. Breakfast was included, but ordering it was a little complicated and the plate of nuts and fruit may not be everyone’s idea for breakfast. But overall a great place to stay when exploring this lovely old town. "

"Cute and quaint bed & breakfast. Friendly service, dinner was really good for the price. Flavor and quality of breakfast was just ok, but enough variety for breakfast buffet . Unfortunately we got back too late to join the lantern making and nature walk. But we got to use the food soak and also the fish pond. It’s really cute and fun. "

"Great stay, our room has a balcony overlooking the lake that was stunning. It's about 15 minutes to walk to the bus station or pier area where the dining options are. The room was large and bed and shower were great. The family that runs the place are very nice even picked us and and took us back to the bus station. At night it's very peaceful and tucked away from the crowds. Highly recommend this property."

"First impressions are lasting. On arrival to the address of the hotel, I was left facing a bike rental shop. I later discovered that it was the correct address and access to the rooms was through the bike shop. The office to the hotel was the lady operating a food outlet on the other side of the street. This was not the type of check-in that I usually associate with a "hotel", but more of a boarding house/back-packer establishment. There are none of the features that you expect when...
