"The property was clean and the service was good. We arrived late due to heavy traffic. The staff waited for us to check in to the property. She even directed our driver where to park the vehicle and recommended him where to stay. She also directed my friend where to do her laundry. The only negative point is the room has no safe deposit box and no ‘do not disturb’ sign. "

"GH house is a small, friendly hotel close to the main attractions in Lukang — the beautiful Mazu temple and the old streets of the town. The rooms and clean and roomy and quiet. The manager was very friendly. Breakfast was included, but ordering it was a little complicated and the plate of nuts and fruit may not be everyone’s idea for breakfast. But overall a great place to stay when exploring this lovely old town. "

The room was large and bed and shower were great. The family that runs the place are very nice even picked us and and took us back to the bus station. However, at the check in, we ran into a major snags. The listing shows 2 rooms/2 baths, but the proprietor only gave me ONE room of the 2 room listing, because he assumed all 4 of us could fit into a tiny room. That wasn't acceptable to us.
