"We were greeted on arrival by a very welcoming young lady who checked us in and showed us to our room. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Stayed to eat some lunch, service was friendly and efficient. After a wander round Lancaster, back to our room for showers and a change. "My meal on Sunday evening was the best I’ve ever had, and the service by Rula wonderful and friendly.. room was delightful and breakfast delicious hot and perfectly served. Excellent choice the only problem was when paying generally with Hotels.com I pay before I leave home and can use my Keycash points but as Mellor took funds on leaving the deputy manager didn’t know how to use my credit which would have covered my meal. She tried to phone but apparently couldn’t get through. I will be taking...

"Overall a good stay, free parking. Great staff, friendly, helpful and informative. Nice cosy warm large room with all facilities you would expect and a few extras (biscuits, water) Includes breakfast which made costs reasonable. Restaurant was excellent, food high quality, again reasonable price. "

"Staff were amazing, room was beautiful and very well kept. Would only have to comment on the light shining through the bathroom window all night from the storage area outside, and the shower cubicle wasn't very clean (moldy grout, mold on shower fittings), but the room itself was very modern and warm. We stayed in room 9, which was dog friendly. It was located on the ground floor, right near the entrance to the pub, I was worried we would be able to hear everything going on but I can't say that...
