"Booked two nights on a whim , we both loved it the room was perfect they even made sure we had same room both nights . Food was fantastic as well great service dog friendly which was so good to see . We ran over into late check out and was late for breakfast the staff wasn't fazed at all 10/10 stay definitely recommend "

"This has to be called a hidden gem, the most passionate and welcoming owner Paul, what a genuine lovely guy, the room was impeccably clean, it felt like I was in my own home, the standard of decor is above and beyond what you would expect, I was even shown a family room which was stunning! I have found myself a new retreat in will be back soon. This will also be passed to my work colleagues and friends. Thank you Paul you and the team have done an amazing job and look forward to coming back....

"Nicely appointed room with only a little noise from the pub (expected tbh as it was Saturday night) which stopped by 11.30pm. Staff were great and very friendly. Pub food was good. Room smelt a little strange and couldn't get the bathroom radiator to work, but other than that everything was great. Breakfast provisions were more than adequate."

"Had another great stay here. Came to watch Liverpool vs Man City and love how close to Anfield this is. I have stayed here everytime I come to Liverpool to watch football and I will continue coming here for every game I come and see. "

"This property was perfect for our needs, working at a conference in the city. We arrived 9pm and left early both days, so just needed a place to sleep. Private carpark round the rear of property. Close to metro (tram) stop and an easy 20 minutes by car from the city centre (less for Salford Quays or Old Trafford). Apart from check-in we never saw anyone during our weekend stay. Host was contactable by mobile if we needed (which we didn't). Self service breakfast provided (cereals) as under new...

"What a lovely place. Set in quiet village right next to Dunham Massey and Tatton Park which we visited. The breakfasts are excellent and thoroughly recommended - you will not need lunch !The hosts Janice and David were very friendly and welcoming . "Really professional and friendly staff. Tv sinal was dropping out. Couldn't get a signal mobile or wifi in the room and couldn't work out how to turn off the air condition which kept me awake all night. However that aside would stay again. Lovely looking. Well appointed. Easy access and good food and reception cant do enough. I didnt get the chance to use the spa andvpool but we ould certainly come back and will try it on that occasion. Great dinner and breakfast and very clean"

Excellent Hotel

"This was our second stay here and like our first time we were very pleased with everything. The hotel is modern and well maintained. The staff in the restaurant are excellent and the food is also very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to keep using the Clayton Hotel in the future."

"Fantastic place to stay while in Liverpool. Minutes from the main shopping area at Liverpool One and is surrounded by plenty of bars and cafes and restaurants for all tastes. The front desk staff were amazing help and very friendly. Most importantly the rooms were a good size clean and comfortable and they also provided a mini fridge, tea/coffee machine and had a microwave."
